Hanza starts 2026 with a record quarter

The Swedish manufacturing group reported 20 percent organic growth, strong cash flow and early momentum from BMK, as Saab recognition adds weight to its delivery credentials under pressure.

Swedish knowledge and manufacturing company Hanza opened 2026 with a record quarter.

According to its Q1 report, published on Tuesday, sales exceeded SEK 2.6 billion, supported by organic growth of 20 percent.

The company said its operating margin for comparable units was 9.7 percent, while cash flow amounted to SEK 424 million.

- Q1 confirms the strength of Hanza’s business model and the work carried out within Hanza 2025. We are seeing organic growth, a high operating margin and strong cash flow at the same time, which is a clear result of a structured, long-term effort, said Erik Stenfors, chief executive of Hanza.

Stenfors said acquisitions remain a central part of Hanza’s business model.

Q1 was the first quarter to include German company BMK, with integration progressing according to plan and positive customer feedback reported in Germany.

- We are already seeing an increase in order intake, which is expected to contribute to growth during this year, Stenfors said.

Founded in 2008, Hanza now has about 5,000 employees and annual sales of about SEK 10 billion following completed acquisitions.

Hanza’s clients include product companies such as 3M, ABB, Eaton, Epiroc, GE, Getinge, John Deere, Mitsubishi, Patria, Saab, Sandvik, Siemens and Tomra.

The company has also been named Supplier of the Year 2026 by Saab Surveillance for its delivery capabilities under demanding conditions. The award was presented during the Saab Surveillance Supplier Day in Gothenburg on 28 April.

Hanza is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm’s main market
